A Quick Gun Noob Rant:
The problem today is that too many people suck at the breast of their instructors without actually finding out for themselves if what they are being taught is valid for the individual.
The gun community has gone the way of martial arts in the 80’s where badges, schools and titles became more important than validity. There needs to be a renaissance in HOW people train not WHO they train with.
Become open minded again. If the battlefield is in constant change…why isn’t training constantly changing to meet the fluid landscape of conflict? Do we know everything there is know about combat? Do the lessons learned in Iraq and Afghanistan represent the totality of tactical knowledge? It can’t be.
